I first worked with Julie on a styled shoot two Christmases ago and instantly hit it off with her (or at least, I hope the feeling is mutual lol). Julie also photographed my last workshop before covid hit us hard (which I still need to blog by the way) and I am so grateful she was able to take my maternity photos too. So when Julie asked if the girls and I would be available to do a shoot with Wally The Happy Photobus, I was over the moon excited! I have been admiring Wally the Happy Photobus for quite some time now so it was really the perfect early gift for my first mother’s day!
Wally is fully styled 1976 VW bus that is rented out for special events and photoshoots. When he’s not being photographed, Wally is also a showroom for the Happy Home Shop, where you can buy the most beautiful and unique Coastal Bohemian decor pieces for your home. I can’t get over how beautifully Kym styles Wally for every season and occasion!
A photo shoot with 7.5 month twins is no easy feat but luckily my mom came along to be an extra set of hands (and believe me, I needed it!). I am normally behind the camera dancing, singing, and making silly faces when I take photos of the girls but it’s a different story when I try to be in the photo with them. I don’t think we got a photo of all three of us smiling but we got some shots where everyone’s eyes were open (and minimal RBF lol) so I consider that a win!
We were even able to grab a few photos with grandma!
And as usual, if I can sneak in a hand lettered chalkboard, I am going to do it LOL.
