Galentine’s Pizza Party

I love celebrating Galentine’s day… maybe even more than Valentine’s day lol (sorry hubby)! Galentine’s day happens on February 13th and it is a day for celebrating your lady friends. I thought it would be fun to do a Galentine’s pizza party this year!

Creations by Sonia brought my vision to life with this cute (and overly punny) Galentine’s invitation. How many puns can you spot?

It’s no secret that I love all things pink so naturally, I started with a pink tablecloth (which I realize after looking at photos that I should have steamed or ironed it LOL) and then decorated the table with whimsical plateware and gold cutlery.

I created a simple backdrop using inflatable gold balloon letters. What I love about these balloons is that you can deflate and reuse them again for future celebrations.

I absolutely loved this pink pizza cake, pizza cupcakes, and adorable individual heart shaped pizza cookies. We even had mini pizza boxes for the cookies (that I bought off of Amazon)!

We had custom straws and a banner made up to match our table theme and then sprinkled heart shaped confetti all over the table.

I also decided to make a giant pizza out of paper that we attached to the wall (inspired by Oh Happy Day!). It acted as a fun photo backdrop for Kelsey and me and it was a great spot to show off our custom made shirts!

I even tried to make my own pepperoni heart pizza, and by “make” I mean I bought a frozen pizza, cut some pepperoni hearts using a cookie cutter, laid them on the pizza and then cooked it in the oven.
