Just last month, I hosted a beginner calligraphy workshop at The Heart in Cloverdale. The Heart is a cute retail store that also doubles as a collaborative workspace and event space. It was perfect for hosting a lettering workshop!
Each student received a 12 page lettering resource guide including a lowercase and uppercase alphabet exemplar and practice drill sheets (all created by moi!).
I hand lettered these personalized reusable Starbucks cups for each student, which also doubled as place cards.
Blush and Balsam created these flower arrangements for the tables.
The students helped themselves to beverages, popcorn, fruit, and custom made cookies.
First we went through the lowercase alphabet and then we learned how to connect letters.
We gave away a few door prizes that were generously donated from Mary Hill Co., Ashley Burnett, and Radiant Beauties.
Every student went home with a keepsake tote bag filled with goodies.
