The dramatic season of Bachelor of Paradise is coming to an end soon so you know what that means… It’s time to round up your friends and host a viewing party for the season finale (because watching guilty pleasures seems less guilty in good company). The show is filmed in Sayulita Mexico so I wanted our party to have a tropical vibe with Mexican touches. Here’s what you need to throw the ultimate Bachelor in Paradise viewing party!
Decor
Use decorations to set the theme of the party! We decorated our snack table with a Mexican style table runner, faux monstera leaves, concrete succulent planters and a tropical flower arrangement. The balloon arrangements were decorated with custom made decals and we created a banner using air-filled balloon letters. I hand lettered a sandwich style chalkboard with our menu.
Sweet treats and savory snacks
Make sure you feed your guests plenty of sweet treats and Mexican inspired snacks! Included in our spread were cactus cupcakes and cake, fresh fruit, tacos, and plant-based nachos along with all the fixings like homemade guacamole, queso, and tropical salsa. We also made sure to include custom made sugar cookies in the shape of pineapples, margaritas, tropical leaves, roses, and date cards.
And Then Again made us the best hand-stamped vintage spoons!
Viewing Area Lounge
We transformed our viewing area lounge by decorating the wall with tropical leaf decals and a custom made banner. Plus, it made an awesome photo backdrop! We snacked on jackfruit tacos and sipped tropical punch out of the cutest mason jar glass tumblers. Don’t forget to tell guests to dress up in their finest beach/tropical wear and you’re all set for the most dramatic season finale ever!!
