A Pastel Ice Cream Social Party Inspiration Shoot

With national ice cream day coming up in a few days, I thought it would be appropriate to share this pastel ice cream social party that was recently featured on Inspired by This! I have had the chance to work with many amazing vendors in the past few years so I thought it would be a fun idea to get together for an afternoon of ice cream, treats, and socializing! Not only is this a fun idea for a summer get together, but how cute would it be for a birthday party or bridal shower?

Our treat table included a stunning ice cream sundae cake, cute cupcakes, adorable hand decorated cookies and an amazing balloon backdrop.

We added a hand lettered sign, an ice cream banner, and confetti for a playful touch. A local supplier, Better With Foods, provided our ice cream and it was so delicious!

We set up a self-serve topping bar cart, which included everything from sprinkles to gummy bears.

Our tablescape included details like individual floral ice cream cones, DIY sprinkle favors, custom made straws, and ice cream napkins.

Creations by Sonia created the cutest invitation and coordinating place cards.

We created a simple sprinkle backdrop using vinyl decals provided by One Crafty Keeper. Little Rose Party Company made us the most adorable oversized ice cream cone out of balloons and I just love how it turned out! We had fun posing in front of the wall with our custom-made photo props.

Check out my DIY sprinkle shoes! I bought inexpensive canvas shoes and used a small paintbrush and dollar store paint to add colourful sprinkles all over.

Lastly, we put together a curated goodie bag full of local goodies including handmade bath and body products, organic cotton candy, and hand stamped spoons.
